Deaf, Hard of Hearing, & Speech Impaired
As we age, some of us will begin to have difficulty hearing as well as we used to. This can impede communication between family members and cause distress for the person who is experiencing this change in functioning. It can also be dangerous when warnings cannot be heard. There are resources available for those experiencing hearing impairment and their caregivers.
