The Division offers a wealth of brochures and fact sheets covering a broad range of topics for both the deaf population and those trying to understand how to communicate and how to relate.
They also provide, in partnership with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a Driver Communication Card to facilitate communication between deaf and hard of hearing drivers and law enforcement officers. State and local law enforcement officers throughout North Carolina are trained to recognize the cards and understand their purpose. The service is free. |

The North Carolina Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides seven Regional Resource Centers to provide direct services to citizens who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind. The centers are open to anyone seeking information or assistance regarding hearing loss. Each center also offers on-site Video Relay Services.
