Using the Topic Index to Find Information
Navigation of a website is the key to a successful and enjoyable experience. Being able to understand where you are in the site and how to easily find information on topics of interest will lessen frustration and confusion.
To help with this, we have put together a Topic Index. It can be accessed at the top of the navigation bar to the left of each page. The navigation bar is on every page.
The Topic Index is separated into areas of information - topics - by the letters of the alphabet.

Clicking on a letter will take you down the page to a section with all areas of information that begin with that letter. Each one will have a link to the information within the site.
Here is an example. This is the letter "C" section. If you click on "C" in the letter box above, it will take you down the page to this example. Click on any link to go to the part of the website where this information can be found (use the "Back" arrow or button in the top left of your screen to get back to the Topic Index page). The button following the section will take you back to the top of the Topic Index page. Caregiver - Feeling Overwhelmed Caregiver - Handbooks and Newsletters Caregiver - How to Make Tough Care Decisions Caregiver - Stress (see Stress) Caregiver - Typical Situations & Remedies Caregiver Specialists - Most Frequently Asked Questions Caregiving - Family Caregiver Support Program Certified Aging in Place Specialist Checklist - Observed Behavior for Alzheimer's & Dementia Checklist - Selecting an Assisted Living Facility

In the example above, the items with "Caregiver - " in front indicate that all those items are within a section on Caregivers. Similiarly, you will find groups with the prefixes of "Checklist - " and "Alzheimer's - " and "End of Life - " and "Grandparents - " etc.
The items with the NC map
after
indicate pages specific to North Carolina.
Items in "bold" are section "Welcome" pages or "Home" pages.
We hope this explanation will help you to become comfortable using the Topic Index. It is a quick and easy way to find information within this site.
