How to Bookmark a Page

Caregiver Couple Using the Computer

A "bookmark" is an way to have easy access to your favorite websites. In effect, you tell your computer to make a link to the page in a special folder that can be accessed from the Tool Bar at the top of the page. Only pages that you tell your computer to save are kept in this folder.

We will give you a general idea of how to do this since how you are able to bookmark a page will be dependent on what browser you use (i.e. Internet Explorer, Mozilla, etc.)

First, we highly recommend that you update your browser to the latest version. The latest version will have the most updated security features and usually make features like bookmarking as easy as possible in response to viewer feedback.

If you use Internet Explorer, go to "Favorites/Add to Favorites/Add". For Mozilla and/or Firefox go to "Bookmark/Bookmark This Page/OK". It's very simple and very similar on most browsers.

You can also drag the Full Circle of Care Caregiver Website icon Iconin the address bar at the top of your screen, down until you are allowed to release it (position your cursor over the icon, hold down, and move the icon down the page). In other words, you won't get a circle with a line through it. When that happens, the icon will be visible on the line where your "Home" and other frequently used bookmarks are located. Then, whenever you want to come back, get on the Internet and just click on the icon.

Or you can click on this bookmark icon where you see it within the site. Instructions will pop up to guide you.
